This is my newest large artwork. It is original concept art I created over a 3D base; there were no restrictions, and I could paint-over as much or as little as I wanted. I chose to stick to the base as much as possible to demonstrate to my potential employers/clients that I can work like this. This is actually a class project for the Advanced Production Techniques class offered at Syn Studio Montreal taught by Daniel Kvasznicza currently at Concept Artist at Warner Bros who worked on the most recent Batman game). So far, this class has been a great experience. Be sure to check Daniel's site for his updated portfolio in the coming weeks, and Syn Studio for future workshops and new classes.
Just putting up a quick update about the most recent life drawings I did at Syn Studio. I made the necessary change from pencil over to a marker, so that I would have bolder lines without having to ink over the drawings after. Same medium & principal. This was quite the difficult sessions because drawing two people intertwined is...well, twice the challenge.
These two are sort of a set. Check out the album for more. I'm interested in selling these as originals, and they are already up in the Society6 store. Updates on that later.
