I've been making videos for Syn Studio this past couple seasons. I made a new page for the content. Keep your eyes on it - there are 3 episodes to my interview series. Go here to figure out what I'm talking about.
Yesterday, I went to the MIGS 2013 after-party with Syn Studio as part of a live entertainment event. I will be editing the video I have shot of the event, but for now - here's some photos I took in between. Consider this a sample of my event photography, provided I do not use any fancy gear besides my camera, tripod, and the lighting in the space.
MIGS is a conference in Montreal for the video game production industry.
There's a shot of me from the archived livefeed.
This is my newest large artwork. It is original concept art I created over a 3D base; there were no restrictions, and I could paint-over as much or as little as I wanted. I chose to stick to the base as much as possible to demonstrate to my potential employers/clients that I can work like this. This is actually a class project for the Advanced Production Techniques class offered at Syn Studio Montreal taught by Daniel Kvasznicza currently at Concept Artist at Warner Bros who worked on the most recent Batman game). So far, this class has been a great experience. Be sure to check Daniel's site for his updated portfolio in the coming weeks, and Syn Studio for future workshops and new classes.
